Teaching Practice at Government Model HSS Venjaramoodu

As part of Third semester B. Ed curriculum all taecher trainess had to attend teaching practice for a period around 2 months at different Schools. We selected  Government Model HSS Venjaramoodu for our teaching practice. I along with my 2 friends we're allotted in the same School. First day I was so anxious and excited because it was my first time as a teacher. 

sports day (13-12-22)

Sports day was celebrated in the college on 13th December 2022.It started with an official inaugurational function. Welcome speech was by Dr Deepthi( Vice principal kaviyattu college of education. Inauguration and meet declaration was by Dr T V Kunjiraman ( Principal kaviyattu college of Education) 

Several events were conducted on the sports day such as

Outdoor:

                50m Race , shot put, Discus throw

Indoor :

               Carroms, chess

The sports day was conducted successfully 

Second Mid Term Examination (12-12-2022)

 Second Mid Term Examination

The second mid terminal examination for the students of class 11 and 12 has been started from 12 december onwards. On the first day of examination I got an opportunity to invigilate an exam.

First week of Teaching practice(05/12/2022 -09/12/2022)

on 5 th December 2022 my teaching practice has started on Govt HSS Venjaramoodu. Initially on the first day I was so anxious about teaching as we are just freshers. I was given 12 th standard for teaching practice and the chapter allotted for me was Consumer Protection. On the first class I was little bit nervous to take the class. So first we had an intirductory session with the students and later on from the very next class I started to take class. It is really a very nice experience. But it is little bit tough to make students attentive in the class. I also understand that class room management is very important for creating a good teaching learning environment. During the initial classes I was not so efficient in managing the discipline in the class but later on it had improved a lot. I had min 2 periods a day and some will be a substitution hour. Overall by first week experience of teaching practice was nice. 

Blood Donation Campaign organised by NSS at Government Model HSS Venjaramoodu (08-12-22)

BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

Blood donation campaign was organised by National service Scheme (NSS) at Government Model HSS Venjaramoodu on 8th December 2022. The campaign was a Successful one. Teaching, non teaching and several local peoples donated their blood as part of this campaign
